Woody

Woody is an 8yr old Black Thoroughbred gelding of French breeding.

Retiring from racing, he has been in his present home for the last five years and is now looking for a change of direction.
He is a very kind horse to handle and in the stable, and a forward going but safe ride.
He is a busy horse that just wants to get on with his job. He jumps natural fences well and is just being introduced to coloured poles and school work during his stay at Underhill.

On offer at a very sensible price of £550.

Buying horses and ponies

We are prepared to consider purchasing horses/ponies when it is clear that the owner and horse's "chemistry" is not compatible. Matching the horse to the person is all important to the well being of both and is not necessarily a failure if things do not work out. It is better to admit it and move on.
